Senior Consultant
Welchman Consulting is looking for a senior-level consultant to lead client engagements. Ideal candidates will have 10 or more years of experience in the Web industry and a deep understanding of the organizational and technical challenges of managing large, complex Web sites.
Responsibilities include:
-Providing analytical and strategic direction on client engagements
-Crafting and presenting client deliverables
-Serving as primary point of contact with clients
-Leading project teams
Specific qualifications include:
-Previous consulting experience in the Web industry
-Working knowledge of Information Architecture, Taxonomy, Content Management and Web technical infrastructure
-Critical thinking and analytical skills
-Strong writing and presentation skills
-Personable, approachable and able to communicate effectively with all levels of Web stakeholders
-Experience with business development
-Experience with Federal Government contracts preferred, but not required
Candidate may work from a home office in the MD/DC/VA region, but will be required to travel as needed.

Web Analyst
Welchman Consulting is in search of a qualified analyst to support our Web Operations engagements. Ideal candidates will be detail obsessive with the ability to quickly assimilate and process large amounts of information. We are looking for well-rounded folks who have 5 or more years of experience in the Web industry as a project manager, web master, requirements analyst or all-round "jack of all trades".
Responsibilities include:
-Facilitating the collection and aggregation of Web Operations information
-Supporting Senior Consultants in information analysis
-Drafting documentation of findings and analysis
-Drafting and presenting client deliverables
Specific requirements include:
-Working knowledge of Information Architecture, Taxonomy, Content Management and Web technical infrastructure
-Familiarity with Web analytics, content analysis, usability testing and requirements analysis
-Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently
-Strong writing skills
-Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
-Previous consulting experience helpful, but not required
Candidate may work from a home office in the MD/DC/VA region, but will be required to travel as needed.
